Grace and Gratitude

Stay grounded… connect within. Find peace with where you are, and find hope in where you are headed.

You can eat the spinach, drink the water, track the calories, attend the meetings, buy all the things, wear the designer shoes. But not one ounce of that matters if we cannot connect to something higher or greater than ourselves.

Discard immediately what isn’t serving you. Hustle like you mean it… and rid the rotten. This new dawn can bring meaning, and you are capable of cultivating your purpose.

It’s not instant. Gratification is not always instant. Find what works for you… and when you do, hold on tight.

I’ve started my day with what fuels and serves my body the best. Grace and Gratitude today.

What are you grateful for?

Speedwork.

I had Covid in December. It knocked me flat on my ass, quite frankly. As a runner… it took me years to develop speed, to train wisely, and set the goal of my dream someday… the Boston Marathon.

It wasn’t until about mid-January that I could start to slow jog again. By February I got back out there to try and start increasing my mileage to what it was.

My point… my pace is way off from where I left it… My joy, however, my love of this pavement… the lessons of what these cracks and bends in it have taught me… and my drive to train even harder… and come back stronger is amplified.

Sometimes you have to step back… see the bigger picture. Give thanks for where you are… be grateful for your true friends who inspire you, who encourage you, and who believe in you.

Dust settles… I don’t 👊🏻. Focused and ready… we’ve got some training to do.💜

Wellness Wednesday.

There is something to be said for your circle. The people who check in and say hello. They ask you how you are doing. They ask if they can help, and they sincerely want you to live your best life, and feel your best while doing it.

There is a difference between “selling” and “sharing” “pushing” and “ persevering.” Accountability matters… uplifting others matters, and being passionate about tangible and palpable results is not silly or pointless… it’s exciting and motivating.

I will never stop sharing my why or my story. I will never push anyone to buy something that’s not for them… that’s not my style. But I will say this.

I am a constant student of health and wellness. I am always trying and learning… and when I strike gold, I want you to also.

I am grateful for new relationships, for sustainable support from some fantastic people… for when you find them, grab on and hold tight… they are taking you places 💛👊🏻.

If you ever want to know more, you know where to find me. Times are hard. The world is a mess… but you are your greatest asset… now and forever.

75 Hard Challenge

What am I learning on this 75 hard challenge?!

I am learning that a gallon is a lot of freaking water 💦.

I am learning that discipline demands a better attitude, and that we can challenge ourselves to do better. 👍

I am learning that 10 pages of a book 📖 at night when you’re exhausted can feel like a 100 pages.

I am learning that doing this means I am not comparing myself to anyone else… but for the personal improvement of my being. 🧘🏼‍♀️

Stagnation creeps on all of us. Do not permit the unsettlement, the lack of understanding, or the fear of the unknown stop you from believing and achieving. 🥇

Set yourself apart. Do the things that hurt… and smile while you’re doing them 🎟.

That is all.

Investing in You.

The future of who you become does not start in someone else’s four walls… it starts in yours.

The potential of your well-being does not start within someone else… it starts within you.

Take the time to sow your own seeds… nurture them and watch them grow.

Investing in yourself is never foolish. Trying something new for personal betterment is not risky… it is smart.

Wanting to see and help people heal and feel their best is not meaningless. It’s nourishment for the soul.

Delay nothing that will aid you in the greatest investment to be made… YOU. What are you waiting for?

The Art of Wellbeing

Good Saturday Morning!

It’s not just another day. It’s more than just a shuffle to the coffee pot. It’s not about let’s just exist and pray nothing gets in our way today.

It’s not the crap on television or fake news. It’s not the stigmas of BS people have so generously placed upon us. It’s not about faking our way through the day and hoping no one sees our struggles, our shortcomings and our setbacks.

It’s about trying to love and accept ourselves even when the mirror and mind are fighting against us. It’s about forgiving what we could not understand and educating ourselves on nutrition and wellness.

It’s about owning what we could not change and fighting like hell to do something about it.

It’s about trying our best and believing that no matter what… life is begging us to sign a contract with renewal, and hope, with faith and freedom.

You are enough. Today, tomorrow, and forever. Time to fly.
