The doorways we choose each day in our life path are crucial to who we become. I have walked both intentionally and unintentionally through doorways that have led me through destruction, fear, and choices that carved the walls of my strength.
Doorways can be deceiving. What you think is on the other side can be filled with false hope. Empty promise. The same room… the same toxicities… the same repeated cycles.
The doorways of my previous addicted world always seemed to open even wider when I was at the brink of disaster. That woman on the left was trapped in those rooms for a very long time.
The woman on the right carefully examines her doorways these days. Before she enters, she asks herself: if I step in, will this doorway entry serve my greater purpose? Will it fulfill me? Will it allow me further growth and less bullshit?
Take the time to think about your goals. Think about who you wish to become. Do Not Enter the doorways that are jaded, altered, or that will not serve you.
Guard the doorways to your success… and do not let any person, place, or thing enter without your permission.
You control your doorways now… what a beautiful concept this is….🖤. Go be wonderful today.

The becoming of your truest self begins when your feet hit the path of which seldom like to go.
Physical change is wonderful. I could tell you I lost 90 pounds, I can show you the pictures to support that… but what is more important than the physical is the mental endurance and toughness it takes to transform your spirit.
The road less traveled is a place that’s usually not crowded. We have all a pathway to it. Some of us are just stepping ever so softly on it, some of us are pounding heavy in the middle of it, and some of us are at the groundbreaking edge of being led off the road and ready to unveil what they have learned.
When I am at my best. I am connected to the Earth. I stop for the flowers, I listen for the birds, I see clearly how the toxic bullshit of the past doesn’t stand a chance against God’s beautiful treasures and connectedness, inner peace, or self-love.
Do yourself a favor and turn down The Road Less Traveled. Take the first step. Take the unexpected route, do quietly the things that stir up change, but do boldly the things that help others to see.
You are worthy of everything good… now get on that road.

My past is a place where I visit from time to time, but I don’t stay long anymore. I don’t ask for an invitation to visit. I show up uninvited to remind it of just a few things.
My past told me I couldn’t become an athlete, because I was lazy… undetermined and unfocused. I ring the doorbell of my past, and when it opens the door… it now sees the face of grit, hard work, discipline, and eyes that see long into my dreams and goals.
My past told me I couldn’t overcome the bottle. That Jameson and Vodka would destroy me long before a pair of running shoes could.
I ring the doorbell and when my past answers, I say remember me? Now it sees the girl who hasn’t touched a drink in 5 years. Who put down the bottle to pick up her self-worth, and found self-love again.
My past told me I couldn’t make a difference: “You’ll never be an example, or a leader. You’ll never succeed.”
I ring the doorbell and when it opens the door… my past sees all of you. It sees your kind words and support. It sees us sharing all our achievements together.
My past asks me if I would like to sit and stay awhile… maybe get reacquainted. I politely decline. As I leave, I turn around and say:
“You thought you would break me. You thought you could keep me prisoner, hold me in the dark, never to be rescued.”
As I shut the door, the beautiful light shining down upon me pierces that dark place. The past quietly closes the door with nothing left to say.
Find your willingness to be better. Do not let people, places or things hold your happiness… they will drop it every time. Find your light and burn that bitch so bright, you light up the world 🌎✨⭐️.
Now let’s get this run done ✌️.

Why not wake up today and decide today is the day you change your life?
Why not wake up today and decide today is the day you cut the excuses?
Why not wake up today and decide you are going put to rest doubt and fear?
Why not wake up today and forget the scale, forget the harsh screams of others and just be wonderfully you?
Why not wake up today and smile and wave at all them haters and naysayers?
Today is yours. The work is hard, and the road may be long, but the journey… every paved and unpaved mile, will teach you something valuable. Set out to find gratitude in each mile.
Have acceptance in each setback, and have hope for every victory yet to come. Someone is watching you. Show them kindness, teach them love, and let them in on your successes.
Bitterness need not apply. Now let’s go smash some pavement… after all, it is WEDNESDAY‼️ WHY NOT?
Never ever again to settle for less than what feeds my soul.
Do I pray for this world? You bet I do‼️
Am I going to just sit back and let the world happen to me? Hell no‼️
Wake up and be an influencer!!
Stop whining‼️ Make your bed‼️ Make good food‼️ Lace ’em up‼️ And go scream it from the rooftops‼️

I’m going to say a little something today to anyone struggling.
On the left was a girl whose smile was there because someone said “Say cheese!”
The core of me was alone… in an upheaval of a mess made by wrong choices… fueled by addiction, doubt, and shame.
I rode my high horse as a means of trying to fit in. I let crappy people influence my choices. I was robbing myself of a life of freedom, goodness, and wellness.
The woman on the right smiles because she crushed her devils… weathered the storms, and found peace within the brokenness.
Today life is tough. We scroll through social media. We see fitness models talk about their chiseled success, we see fad diet after diet, shake after shake, supplement after supplement. How can we not feel conflicted?
Here’s the deal: find what works for you and seek the pure joy in it. You want to eat meat? Eat meat. You want to be vegan? Be vegan. You want to cartwheel on the street between each mile.? Do it!!!! Find what you love and let it be a neverending well of happiness.
This world has had enough people spit venom about individual choices.
Today… all I’m asking is you wake up and choose you. Give thanks for who you were, give praise for who you are, and lay down some gratitude for who you will continue to become.
Find what works for you… price tag it and own it. Show the world… be the change.
I promise you someone is watching… let’s give ’em something to talk about ✌️.
You have one life… one chance… one dream to leave a legacy. How you wake up and act today will set the stage for your life tomorrow.
Do I have regrets? Yes.
Do I stumble with my choices sometimes? Absolutely.
Do I know that I will never allow certain people, places, or things to be responsible for the detrimental navigation of my own happiness? You bet your ass I do.
Today is my day and yours‼️ Don’t politely tell this world who you are… SHOW THEM.
I promise you someone is watching❤️.
We have a choice, we have a say, and we determine who we will become… amen and amen!
“Why do you do it?” I get asked frequently by many… “How do you find inner motivation? How can you wake up and find time?”
For me, the answer is simple. Not ever going back to a place of discontentment.
Why should we settle? Why should we continue to let people, places and things carve out the person we are? Our circumstances may be crappy, or seem minute. Our pasts may seem daunting, unjust, or just average.
If you want to be a force of nature… then wake up and do the work. Let the lessons of life guide you. Take small steps to release your crap, and say yes to challenge and change.
You are responsible for you. The haters will hate, the naysayers will vomit venom, the critics will judge. Get in your tunnel and light it up… let the world see what can you can do.
You don’t have to be the best, or the fastest. You just have to be consistent. I promise you, someone is watching you. Teach them something worth learning🖤.

To Whom This May Concern…🖤🖤🖤 I got asked today: “Why do you do it? How can I do it, too?”
The answer lies deep within the reflection in the mirror.
Maybe you’re tired of pretending, like I was… Maybe you’re done with people pleasing… Maybe you’re scared of the unknown… Maybe you’re scared of the known… Maybe you’re fed up with toxic crap… Maybe you’re done with fear and shame… Maybe you’re overwhelmed with reality… Maybe you’re too far gone with fantasy… Whatever it is… don’t let the hard days win.
Lace the sneakers, pedal the bike, swim the pond. Commit to something greater than negative naysayers. Light the match… fuel the joy and spread that sh@$ like wildfire! 🖤
